Our VBS attendees collected a total of $1,247 which was given to West Racine County Special Olympics.
We’ve collected items for TLC. Their current needs were Diapers for 3-6 yr old children and other sanitary products.
We have served another Love meal this last week of March, which was well attended and very much appreciated.
Hats, mittens, underware and socks to help keep men, women and children warm this winter were collected and given to Halo and Love Inc for them to distribute to those in need.
Gifts of cleaning products, toiletries, and some cookies or treats have been collected and given to TLC.
We have made a contribution of $1000 to Love Inc for Potatoes and Onions again this past year for our Thanksgiving Mission. Love Inc purchases fresh potatoes and onions as their supply had depleted.
We have completed 50 Childrens Shoe Box collections again this year which provides a variety of children’s school supplies, crafting tools, personal items, clothing and some sports items.
The Transitional Living Center was recently selected to receive a gift of $500, which will be matched by a generous donor. This is another worthy, local organization that helps to serve those in need of assistance.
